RAINBOW BRIDGE Just this side of heaven is a place called the Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies, one who has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends where they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigour, those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone who was very special to them, someone they had to leave behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The eyes are bright and intent, the eager little body begins to quiver all over! Suddenly that lucky one breaks away from the group, and flies over the green grass, little legs carrying him fast and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. Happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands once again caress that beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

“I have always had an affinitive with animals – over the years, my companions have been Dobermans Mystie and Grendel; Rottweilers Arnie and Cassie and adopted Golden Retriever Amber. I live with my two dogs, Emily Eliza (Cross Doberman/Lurcher) and teenager, Troy‑Seagal, (Cross [very cross] Rottweiler/German Shepherd) and not forgetting my wonderful cats and their kittens (at least 30 over the years) and a special mention to Soopy (Superking) my almost human cat who passed to spirit recently at the age of 20 years.
“The bond between animal and human never dies – even after death – when our pets die, they are very much alive in the spirit world and they watch over us and wait patiently for us to join them, which could be many years. Our animals choose the time and their owners before they come to the earth plane for they are on a journey the same as us humans.”
Totems, Dreams and Visions For some, the animals who reach them most deeply come to them as “totems” in dreams or in visions. Native Americans have always believed in totem animals, respecting the special guidance, protection, wisdom and powers that this kind of a relationship with an animal can bring. It is believed that totems choose us, we do not choose them. They are the animals that have perhaps fascinated us as children, captured our imagination. They are the animals we enjoy reading about, or seeing at the zoo or in the wild. Sometimes, totem animals come to us in a series of recurring dreams. The inspiration and power we draw from totem animals compel many of us to decorate our homes with images of these animals that we have accorded a special place in our lives and hearts. Totem animals come to feed our souls, not our egos. Hence, not everyone’s totem is one of what we call the ‘noble’ animals: the eagle, stallion, bear or lion. In the natural world, no one animal is more important than another. Even the smaller, unadorned creature has a unique task and a powerful teaching to offer us – spider; frog; mouse or sparrow.

PSYCHIC NEWS & TSM featured Raye’s true story of her beloved dog Cassie who communicated to her from the Spirit World hours after she passed to Spirit (Story below) MY CASSIE CALLED OUT TO ME “My animals have been my lifeline – what would I have done without them? They were always there to lean on, giving much love and loyalty. I have been fortunate inasmuch as I have been able to be with all my dogs when they have passed to spirit, with them giving me their understanding last look of love – ‘Until we meet again’, well, with the exception of Cassie. Her brother, Arnie, had passed to spirit two years earlier and Cassie was never the same without him. She did not want to go walkies or even go out of the house, her companion had gone and she did not know where or why!! I moved house, which helped, but by this time she was housebound. She was still young at heart but her body had given up. It was time to say goodbye to my little girl. The vet arrived to peacefully send her to the spirit world, but unlike my other dogs, she fought to the end, growling, yelping, trying to bite the vet – she eventually fell asleep in my arms but did not give me that last look of love ‘until we meet again’. I was devastated, my heartache was worsened by the fact that she had not gone to spirit peacefully, or so I thought!! I left her lying in the same position, looking very much asleep. I was tenderly stroking her, telling my little girl that mummy was still here and that I loved her. Then clearly and loudly, I heard, clairaudiently, the word…..’MUM.’ It was a most wonderful experience. Cassie had communicated from the Spirit World to say goodbye to me. I often see her, clairvoyantly, running in the fields with Arnie, showing me that they are back together and enjoying themselves.”

HEALING OF THE ANIMALS Raye gets so much pleasure in giving hands on healing to the animals. She will also help owner’s worried about their pets over the phone and healing thoughts are sent. Also, Raye helps animals with psychological problems.
CONTACTING PETS IN SPIRIT When beloved pets pass to the Spirit World, it can be devastating to the owners. Their pets are like their children and their passing can affect them the same as if they were human. Raye has helped many people by contacting their pets in the Spirit World, proving their survival. LOST ANIMALS Raye also works psychically and spiritually when helping to find lost animals. When Raye gets the call, it’s usually a cat or dog that has gone missing. Sadly, if the pet appears to her from the spirit world, it will relay how it passed etc., however, if the pet is roaming or found another home, Raye is given sightings and names of streets etc. Raye gets help from her Monk Frank, who works with her with the animals and sometimes domestic animals in spirit.
